Cassper Nyovest, DJ Maphorisa takes jab at Jorja Smith’s new amapiano song

Cassper Nyovest, DJ Maphorisa and other artists have taken jab at English singer-songwriter Jorja Smith following the release of her amapiano song.

South Africans know that amapiano is one of the most innovative home-grown genres since the nation was blessed with Durban’s Gqom.

Well, it looks like the genre has gone international and some of the artists in the outside country are making music out of it.

Jorja Smith has recently become one the first global stars to jump on that amapiano boat.

The singer released a single with the amapiano beat alongside Ghanaian music producer GuiltyBeatz.

Promoting the song, Jorja said that with her latest single All of This she will be bringing “piano to the world”.
